We love building every gearbox as bulletproof as possible. We strive to build every transmission and transfer case to the max, keeping in mind leaks, bad old parts, badly made new parts, and factory failure points. For the Ford Bronco model D-20 transfercases used from 1966-1977 we do a few things to make them more stocky. This one pictured is our heaviest build, with the exception of an even bigger brand new housing. The remanufactured T-case includes;
-3.15:1 ratio brand new low gears
-Heavy duty rear output housing kit with new shaft, yolk and double lip seal
-Heavy duty adjustable shift rail detent springs to prevent unwanted disengagement
-Ultra hardened USA made idler shaft and bearings with dual end O-rings
-Leak stopper precision USA made shim
-All new USA or Japan bearings, seals, and gaskets with all gaskets and bolts sealed
-Flange bolts securing pan to better evenly seal
-Professional high grade rust-preventing enamel paint
